Elizabeth B. Gillin was born and raised in New Jersey — the place where she now gets the inspiration for her art. She started painting at an early age with her mother. Her love of people, especially children, and the Jersey shore are expressed in her art using oil, pastel, and pencil.
Elizabeth received a BA from Ithaca College in Fine Art and studied architecture and Interior Design at Cornell University. She has studied at the Art Students League in New York and the Visual Arts Center of NJ in Summit, New Jersey.
After a long career as an Interior Designer, Elizabeth has switched gears to concentrate on her art.
